Underlay

A bad or unfavorable bet. An event that has more money bet on its happening than can be justified by the probability of it happening.

Unit

Technical term used to express the smallest amount of money used in wagering without specifying the actual Dollar or other currency amount.

Up Card (Upcard)

[Blackjack] The face up card of the dealer's initial hand in blackjack.
