Baccarat

Baccarat is an exciting card/table game found in most casinos around the world.

To play Baccarat, you have 3 selections on where to place your wager:

  1. bet the player's hand will win;
  2. bet the banker's hand will win;
  3. bet the game will result in a tie.

The winner is the hand with the point value closest to 9.

How to Play Baccarat

  1. Place your wager either on the PLAYER's hand, the BANKER's hand, or on a TIE.
  2. Once your wager is placed, click DEAL or similar button.
  3. The player and the banker are each dealt their two-card hand. (According to standard Baccarat rules outlined below [Third Card Rules], a third card may be dealt to the player and/or the banker.)

Winnings

betting on the player: even money is paid on all winning wagers. (most casino softwares)

betting on the banker: even money less banker's comission is paid on all winning wagers. (The bank receives approx. 5% commission)

betting on a tie: your payoff is 8 to 1.

Baccarat Rule Details

Card Values at Baccarat

Aces(A): Count as one [1]
Face cards (J,Q,K) and 10's : Count as zero [0]
All other cards (2-10): Count as their numbered values.

If the cards in either hand have a combined value of ten or more points, subtract ten [10].

For example: 6+7=13, which counts as a 3,
or 9+9=18, which counts as 8.


Third Card Rules

If the player's first two cards' total is less than 6, a third card will be dealt to the player.

Depending on the player's hand, the banker will automatically draw a third card:
