When playing Roulette you have a wide variety of possibilities to place bets on the table ("the tableau") Depending on where on the table (tableau) you place your chips you are determining what you are betting on. You can bet on exact numbers, number combinations or just whether the number will be even or uneven and/or the colour of the slot where the ball will come to rest.
